Insured
on the slopes
From 1.1.2022 according to Italian legislative Decree 40/2021 everyone who use the ski slopes (the obligations apply to skiing, snowboarding, sledding, telemark and all snow sports practices) must have a valid insurance covering his civil liability for damages or injuries caused to third parties.
Please check in advance if you already have this type of insurance or purchase it together with your ski pass from any ski pass sales point or in our Meran 2000 Online Shop. When purchasing insurance, your data is passed on to AIG Europe S.A. - Rappresentanza Generale per l’Italia - Piazza Vetra, 17 – 20123 - MILAN, which processes and/or stores your information according to the requirements of national legislation as set forth in the Italian Data Privacy Protection Act.
It is important to keep always your ski pass: AIG sNOw PROBLEM insurance is exclusively linked to your ticket and is only valid in case of accidents on the Merano 2000 slopes during opening hours.
In the event of a claim, the Insured must send a written request with a brief description of the claim or the claim report form - annexed to this Policy - duly completed (Annex 3) by registered mail with return receipt no later than 10 days from the occurrence of the claim, to the following address:
