“Children need an environment that they can touch, feel, hear and smell and in which they can move and gather experiences. According to Dr. Dieter Breithecker, the constant touching and picking up of all kinds of objects that children so often do takes them down the path to understanding.

At the Outdoor Kids Camp right next to the Merano 2000 mountain station, your children can practice building their strength, balance, bounce and dexterity and playfully prepare themselves for their next mountain adventure. Whilst your offspring discover the Outdoor Kids Camp, you can relax with a snack or a refreshing drink right next door in the CUBUS Restaurant and keep an eye on your kids at the same time.

The Outdoor Kids Camp is accessible to all during the opening hours of the Ropeway and closes on 16^th of September 2024.

WHAT MAKES THE ROLLING BALL SO SPECIAL?

The “Rolling Ball”, a marble run made of wood, helps your kids’ motor skills pick up speed by involving them in exciting races. The wooden marble run consists of several channels, funnels and obstacles, which keep it exciting right until the end.

Playing with the marble run fosters the children’s perception, cognitive skills and motor skills in a playful way. Improvements have been proven in spatial awareness, logical thinking, hand-eye coordination and visual perception. In addition, playing with a marble run has a calming effect and provides the children with an experience of success and thus self-confidence.
