THE CITY
AT YOUR FEET
A spectacular hike into the upper reaches of Merano 2000 with a breathtaking 360º view from the roof of the middle station of the Cableway Naifjoch. Your hike begins from Falzeben on trail no. 14 to the mountain station of the Ropeway and once at the top follows trail no. 18. You now have the choice to continue the hike by feet or to take a panoramic cabin of the Cableway Naifjoch, which offers magnificent views.
The Cableway brings you in comfort to the middle station, where a real highlight awaits: the Naifjoch VISTA Viewpoint on the roof of the middle station with its breathtaking 360º views. A place where architecture meets scenery, where an edifice built by man blends with the magnificence of nature. A terrace overlooking Merano, at the edge of the gorge, below rough crags, in front of the beauty of the Dolomites. From the viewpoint you can look down onto the town, far away to the surrounding mountains as far as the Ortler and high up to the Ifinger – every ridge seems close enough to touch! A photo to remember it by is a must!
Naifjoch VISTA is your opportunity to capture the beauty of the panorama, consciously let it take effect on you and interact with it. The big "lens" on the terrace allows you to play with the panorama, opening and closing the 'diaphragm' of the lens as much or as little as you want and thus framing your view of the Dolomites to the east, providing you with a creative background for your souvenir photo.
