In the mountains, behind hills and rocks, amazing trails may be hidden, where young and old alike can experience the boundless freedom of outdoor movement. Just like in open terrain and on trails, a world full of adventure is concealed behind the structures of the new Outdoor Kids Camp. You can train your strength, courage, balance, and jumping skills on climbing walls, slacklines, tunnels, balance courses, and jumping stations.

On the mini via ferrata, with ball games and water pumps, you will further develop your dexterity.

NEW FROM JULY 2025: Located directly at the Merano 2000 mountain station, the new Outdoor Kids Camp play area will open in July. It’s a space where families with both older adventurers and toddlers can play, explore, and enjoy the mountains and fresh air together. The Outdoor Kids Camp will be open from July to September 2025 and freely accessible daily during the cable car operating hours.

WOODEN STRUCTURES

Splinter-free tree trunks made from high quality robinia wood are perfect for climbing. Test your skill here!

SLACKLINING

Slacklining is a great way of developing new skills. Balancing helps you to hone your coordination skills.

SMALL CLIMBING WALL

Climbing is a natural form of exercise. Your kids can acquire stamina and strength on the small climbing wall.

IN-GROUND TRAMPOLINES

You can have loads of fun on the 7 in-ground trampolines and compete with your friends to see who can do the best jumps.

LOOPING SLIDES

Two extra-long looping slides require a bit of courage. Start from the top and slide down at full speed… Who will reach the bottom first? Through the underground tunnel, you'll have to face one last challenge!

WOBBLE COURSE AND ROBBERS' COURSE

Can you adapt to the different challenges of the wobble course? Prove your coordination!

WHAT MAKES THE ROLLING BALL SO SPECIAL?

The “Rolling Ball”, a marble run made of wood, helps your kids’ motor skills pick up speed by involving them in exciting races. The wooden marble run consists of several channels, funnels and obstacles, which keep it exciting right until the end.

Playing with the marble run fosters the children’s perception, cognitive skills and motor skills in a playful way. Improvements have been proven in spatial awareness, logical thinking, hand-eye coordination and visual perception. In addition, playing with a marble run has a calming effect and provides the children with an experience of success and thus self-confidence.

Best of all, the cool wooden marbles can be bought from the Outdoor Kids Camp and taken home with you!
