At the far end of the ski resort, on the Oswald slope near the Malga Waidmann inn, snowboarders and freestylers looking for a thrill should check out the Merano 2000 Snow Park – an ambitious project boasting everything from kickers, rails, tubes and boxes. A guaranteed blast for newbies and cracks alike!
From the ropeway mountain station, the jump zone is easily reached on the Cableway Naifjoch.
SNOWPARK SETUP
The snow park has two sections: While the upper half features Easy Lines for beginners and those looking to improve or fine-tune their skills, the lower section is equipped with an easy and a medium line on six tables. Perfect for somersaults and all other sorts of aerial flips and tricks.
HANGOUT:
Once you're done flying about, head to the hangout – a top-notch meeting place for freestylers and snowboarders in the lower section of the park, just below the two big jumps. It's got a chill-out zone complete with electricity and WIFI. There's no better place to make new friends and keep the old ones posted about your snow- and air-bound adventures.
